I have been thinking
I have been all over the net and I really enjoy the survival blogs about being prepared for civilization ending as we know it. There is huge speculation as to how it will happen when it will happen etc. Lots of the survivalist claim it is happening right now. I would tend to agree with them based on the fact that 1 in 10 American's is without a job. Congress has not voted to extend unemployment benefits. So where does that leave 1 in 10 American's with bills to pay? Various members of Congress have stated it is the unemployed American who does not want to work. That being on unemployment is easier then looking for a job. First off the maximum benefit you can receive on unemployment is 450 a week. So no matter how much you made working you can only collect 450 a week. Do you think a Congressman/woman could live on 450 a week. Second with them not extending benefits to the unemployed and do nothing to create jobs life as we know it is changing. Furthermore the employers that have jobs are not hiring the unemployed or they are hiring people on a temp basis. So even if someone is busting their hump to get a job that person is facing a lot of closed doors. Who do we blame for the end of our society? The last president? The current president who is inexperienced and making lots of changes that are not helping? Our Congress who is not in touch with reality? The American's themselves who overspent and lived beyond their means? Who ever is to blame the fact is life is changing for us all.
